Once most people buy a new residential and commercial HVAC system, they think that they have made a purchase of a lifetime and they don’t have to buy a new furnace and air conditioning unit ever again (or for at least one or two decades), but that’s not true! When a residential and commercial HVAC system gets old, it begins to show a few signs which tell you that it’s time to buy a new furnace and air conditioning unit. If you’ve had your residential and commercial HVAC system for more than 10 years, it may be time to consider getting a new machine. Typically, the service life of a furnace and air conditioning unit ranges from 10 to 15 years, but certain factors can influence that expectancy. For example, if you get your HVAC units maintained regularly, it can help prolong its service life, while neglecting it can have the opposite effect.
